OUR COMPANY

EMB Marine Consultants was established in San Jose, Costa Rica, on the 7th of January 2008 with the aim to provide a reliable solution on marine consultancy and technical support to the global and regional marine industry

EMB Marine Consultants is managed and run since founded in 2008 by Capt. Eric Mora, Master Mariner 1st Class, who has more than 24 years of experience in the maritime industry being 18 of them as marine consultant and surveyor with worldwide experience.

We Perform all kind of marine surveys

from Simple to Complex

EMB Marine Consultants performs all kinds of marine surveys, from relatively simple jobs as cargo damage surveys and condition surveys on small crafts to more complex jobs as stability calculations on newbuildings or marine terminal and port assessments.

We have been appointed as well in many occasions as port captains for several renowned shipping companies to take care of sensitive maritime and port operations. At present, EMB Marine Consultants is headed by its founder Capt. Eric Mora, Master Mariner with 18 years of experience as marine consultant and surveyor.

We have a vast worldwide experience in all types of surveys and consultancies in many locations as are Monrovia, Guinee Bissau, The Gambia, Eritrea, Angola and Conakry among many others on behalf of the United Nations’ WFP in and for the private sector in many places in Europe, South Asia, North, Central and South America.
